Thirty-six (36) top-performing students from Ghanaian schools have received awards from the British Council in honour of their outstanding performance in the Cambridge International exams.
The ceremony took place at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, Liberia Road, Accra, Ghana and was attended by the students, their families, school leaders and teachers from the 95 British Council Partner Schools in the country.
This year’s awards were marked during a significant milestone as British Council celebrates 80 years of its operations in Ghana building connections, understanding and trust. This milestone reflects British Council’s long-standing commitment to fostering educational excellence and supporting the aspirations of generations of Ghanaians.

School Director of New Nation School, Alexandra Kpikpi said: “We are overjoyed about the outstanding achievements of our dedicated students. Their awards are a testimony to the hard work put in by the students and our teachers.”
