Active Citizens Social Enterprise Train the Trainer Workshop
The British Council presents to you the Active Citizens Social Enterprise Train the Trainer workshop. This is a free workshop that comes off from 20 November to 30 November 2017 in Accra and Kumasi. It is happening in Accra from 20 November to 23 November 2017 at British Council Accra and in Kumasi from 27 November to 30 November 2017 at British Council Kumasi from 9am to 4pm.
Over the years, the British Council has delivered a successful social leadership training programme called Active Citizens, that promotes intercultural dialogue, and community-led social development. The ‘Train the Trainer workshop’ is designed to help Facilitators of Entrepreneurship Hubs, Programme Managers of NGOs, Social Enterprise Leaders, Educational institutions,other community change leaders and potential facilitators explore the vision of the Active Citizens programme in detail and become familiar with the toolkit. This training helps them to:
- Be able to use the Active Citizens Facilitator's Toolkit to design and deliver the Active Citizens training programme to local communities.
- Identify potential sources of funding for new action.
- Identify priorities and solutions for positive social action within their communities
- Understand links between local issues, national developments, global issues and ongoing social action initiatives.
